The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) is really stepping up for Tom (Clint Howard) and trying to help him turn his life around. Tom certainly appreciates the job, free food and all this support, but it’s the least Deacon can do since Tom helped save Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown).

However, we have to wonder if B&B has a deeper reason for keeping Tom around. Is this about more than just letting Deacon do a good deed as an act of repayment?

Tom is developing a nice friendship with Deacon as well as Sheila.

The show may be establishing this bond so that when Sheila and Deacon need another big favor, Tom will come through for them.

When Tom first met Deacon and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), he pointed out the warehouse Sheila went in and mentioned all the screaming he heard.

Tom made it clear that he wasn’t a snitch and had learned to mind his own business on the streets.

That’s why Tom just kept his head down and said nothing – at least until Finn and Deacon showed up with concerns.

Tom may eventually land in another situation where he keeps his mouth shut and tries not to get the cops involved.

After all, it’s probably just a matter of time before Sheila commits another major crime.

What happens if Sheila loses her temper and wipes someone off the map? Could Sheila end up with a body disposal problem?

That might become a job for Deacon and Tom if they agree to be part of Sheila’s cover-up.

It’d be entertaining to watch Tom and Deacon try to get rid of a corpse together.

Then again, maybe Sheila’s next crime won’t be quite that serious, but there could still be a dilemma that involves Tom.

Perhaps Tom will lie to the cops and try to point the finger away from Sheila when new trouble arises.

Bottom line, Deacon has a new right-hand man who’s probably going to be totally loyal to him down the road.

Will Tom get tangled up in some Sheila drama and help Deacon hide what she’s been up to?
